| About The Shih Tzu So Easy Too Fall In Love With!! The Shih Tzu is small, the body slightly longer than it is tall. Its head is round and broad with big beautiful eyes.... set wide apart, has large drop ears. The snout is short and square, with a broad jaw. The tail curls over the back. Shih Tzu have a double coat, the outer coat is long and flowing. The long hair on head can be tied in a top knot with bow placed in it. Their hair is similar to human hair instead of fur. This means many people who are allergic to fur are not allergic to Shih Tzu. This also means they do not shed seasonally, they shed in small amounts all of the time, just like you do. Their height is from 8 to 11 inches, they weight 9 to 16 pounds. The Shih Tzu is lively, alert, affectionate an arrogant. They are a friendly, trusting, companionable little dog.
